The third of nine children, plastic surgeon Robert Kearney MD, FACS, graduated from Providence College cum laude and received his Medical Degree from Thomas Jefferson School in Philadelphia, PA.

 

Dr. Kearney completed his general surgery residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa. He then went on to complete his plastic surgery residency at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, and finally a craniofacial fellowship in Miami under S.A. Wolfe MD, an internationally renowned craniofacial surgeon.

Dr. Kearney is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, as well as General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He maintains active membership in the American Society of Plastic Surgeons as well as the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Mena Co-founded Mahtab Aesthetics in 2019. Mena is a native San Diegan and PA, who received her Bachelor’s degree from UCSD, then graduated with her Master’s degree from Loma Linda University in Physician Assistant Sciences.

 

Mena has over 19 years of hands on patient care experience starting as an EMT. She is constantly seeking ways to use science and technology to safely enhance and stimulate the skin and body to look and act young again.

After practicing as a Physician Associate for over 14 years and treating thousands of women and men, she has become known for creating natural outcomes that are timeless. Hence the Mahtab motto, "Timeless Beauty, Natural Results." Mena is a lifelong learner and leader in the industry, she has dedicated most of her adult life to patient care and optimal outcomes, and oversees and trains all of the staff at Mahtab Aesthetics.

 

She is passionated about leading and teaching others her knowledge and techniques so that even more patients can benefit and have great outcomes.

Cassie is a compassionate and dedicated healthcare provider specializing in dermatology and women’s health, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care. With eleven years of clinical experience, she focuses on helping patients achieve healthy, radiant skin while enhancing their natural beauty.

 

Cassie takes a thoughtful and personalized approach to care, working closely with each patient to understand their concerns and develop tailored treatment plans that align with their goals.

Cassie is passionate about patient education and believes that empowering individuals with knowledge about their skin is key to achieving lasting results. Results that are designed to refresh, restore and reaffirm confidence. She stays current with the latest advancements in dermatology to ensure her patients receive the highest standard of care using safe, effective treatments.

Born and raised in San Diego, Cassie is proud to serve the community she calls home. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), and went on to complete her physician assistant training at Stanford University. With a deep passion for dermatology, Cassie is dedicated to providing comprehensive care that supports long-term skin health and overall wellness.

 

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys staying active, spending time with her young family, and embracing the coastal lifestyle that inspires her. 

Yasmeena Hobson has been in the aesthetics industry and brings her 10 years of management experience to Mahtab Aesthetics.

 

Known for her leadership in high-volume, fast-paced environments. With a strong focus on patient care, treatment excellence, and brand loyalty, she manages daily operations and streamlines operations.
